Water based matt epoxy coating/seal
Strongcoat Matt is a water-based solvent-free clear matt epoxy coating that provides wall and floor surfaces with a seamless and hygienic finish. It is suitable for use as a seal with Strongcoat Topping and Strongcoat Quartz.
Strongcoat Matt is applied by brush or roller in a minimum of two coats and has very good durability towards pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
Strongcoat Matt also has very good resistance towards many of the chemicals commonly found in an industrial environment (consult
our Technical Department for further details).
Curing to a matt finish, Strongcoat Matt provides a finish that gives very good slip resistance.
Approximately 8m² / kg at the specified coating thickness.
Important: This coverage figure is based on application to a smooth, dense surface. Coverage figures will vary according to the texture, porosity and evenness of the surface on which the Strongcoat Matt is being applied.
When used as a seal on top of Strongcoat materials listed above, this coverage will be increased to approximately 10-12m² / kg.
