Hints for Application

  1. Make sure the joint is clean, sound, dry, and free from any contamination.
  2. Use a joint backing rod to provide the correct joint depth and support the applied sealant.
  3. Make sure the sealant is not exposed to weathering conditions until it is fully cured. 
  4. Use masking tape on each side of the joint to maintain a clean finish.
  5. Tool the sealant surface to ensure complete contact and good surface finish. Remove the masking tape directly after tooling.
